Alaska Fly Fishing Trip

One Day Fly Fishing Trip Suggestions

So you are in Alaska and you only have one day to fish. What a shame... What were you thinking?
While Alaska does not offer easy drive-in fishing on a tight schedule, it more than makes up for this with multiple opportunities for fly-in trips. Go ahead and book a fly-in day trip; you'll never regret it. For about $350, most guide services will pick you up at your hotel and fly you out to a remote location for the day. The plane ride will take less than an hour and you'll have a chance to see some spectacular country from a great vantage point.

Here are a couple of fly-in services that operate out of Anchorage to get you started:

Rust's Flying Service

From fighting king and silver salmon, to feisty trout and grayling, we'll take you to a remote lake or stream where the action is and the crowds aren't! We'll set you up with an experienced Alaskan guide.
